Nova Scotia's magnificent seaside beauty is home to 71 golf courses including many that are numbered among Canada's top courses.

One of Nova Scotia's hottest new courses is Granite Springs, a superb Cornish and Robinson designed championship course that offers a captivating and challenging experience for both low and high handicappers. This beautiful course features granite outcroppings and twenty-six spring-fed ponds that highlight the importance of accuracy off the tee. Granite Springs is a pleasure to play with fast greens, intricate bunkering and mounding, and an abundance of wildlife that include deer, fox, and osprey. Off-course activities can include tours to the nearby scenic splendour of Peggy's Cove or exploring the attractions and vibrant nightlife of Halifax.

With its rich Scottish heritage, Nova Scotia's Cape Breton Island offers some unforgettable golfing experiences. Superlative proof of this can be found at Highlands Links Golf Course. Designed by renown golf course architect Stanley Thompson and surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the Cape Breton Highlands, Highland Links is one of Canada's legendary courses. This visually stunning and challenging course has the feel of a traditional Scottish links course both in its natural grandour and overall length. Every hole is noteworthy, and playing a round is like an extended stroll through a pastoral garden, with wildlife for company and the beauty of nature all around.

Dundee Resort is another of Cape Breton's great championship courses. Located on the shores of the lovely Bras D'or Lake, golfers here can easily be distracted from the task at hand by magnificent vistas of the lake and green hills from virtually every tee. Dundee is renowned for its challenge, with holes like its signature number seven, a short 153 yard par 3 with a devilishly steep drop to the green protected by two bunkers in front and one behind. While it may test every club in the bag, this is a very playable course that will appeal to golfers of all skill levels. Part of Dundee's special charm is the resort itself which boasts fine accomodations, a lovely marina, and the opportunity to explore the scenic splendour of Cape Breton Island.
